Featured Miler - joe bilello

Member: Joe Bilello

Nickname:  Joe B

Number of years as a Miler: 12 years. Started running with group in 2005.  (wow time flies!)

Who introduced you to the Milers: Matt Battin. One of the original members

Running Pet Peeve: When people blow snot rockets. Use a tissue Joe Z!

Most embarrassing running moment: In a trail race I accidentally ran off course and about 30 other people followed me.

Favorite race distance: Half marathon.

Ideal running temperature: 65 degrees and sunny. I like it a little warmer.

Most number of words spoken in a morning run: 5 (“please don’t talk to me”)

What do you do for a living: Sales & Marketing for GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines

Food weakness: French Fries and Potato Chips….oh wait, does Vodka count as food?  If so, I change my answer to that.

Favorite movie / TV series:  This changes on a regular basis, but right now I’m into the Walking Dead.  This show is so disturbing but I can’t stop watching it.

Dream vacation spot:  I would love to visit Italy where my ancestors are from.  So much history, culture, food, wine, and hot Italian girls.

Celebrity crush: Mila Kunis (That 70s show) Just look at her…seriously?!!

People say you look like: I’ve been told on a few occasions that I look like Jason Bateman – actually just this week someone told me that.  Maybe if I had a little less gray hair!

Favorite artist or group: I love music so really hard to pick just one band.  I’ll go with the band that I own the most albums of which would be Wilco.

Dream person to meet: I realize this is not deep at all, but I would love to hang out with Bill Murray.  What a trip that would be!

Favorite hair product:  Ok. Odd question but Paul Mitchell Clean Cut.

Secret hidden talent: I am really good at finding deals on the internet.  I never pay retail for anything.

Favorite restaurant: I seem to end up at Farm and Fisherman in Cherry Hill quite a bit.  Love having dinner at the bar.

Favorite sport / team: I’m not a huge sports guy.  I like watching the Tour De France every summer.  These guys suffer more than any other athlete there is.  3 weeks of hard core cycling through mountains day after day.  Much respect!

Future running goal: I can honestly say the Milers have helped me surpass every expectation I’ve ever had of myself in running.
